We are looking for an accountancy intern to join our small but growing team, we are made up of a group of consultants, employees, apprentices and volunteers. The position will include: managing company accounts, bank reconciliation, pension, expenses, general quotes and invoicing, and communicating with our solicitors, we are funded by the Legal Aid Authority through the solicitors so this role will involve communicating directly with solicitors and/or their accounting team. Quarterly predicted forecast of the cash flow of the business will also be within your remit.
As an accounting intern, you will need to be proficient in basic accounting procedures, company accounts, invoicing and quoting.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Studying degree level in Accounting & Finance or similar
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders of all levels.

We will provide training on the various software we use in-house. We are looking for a hard-working individual who is looking for a challenging but rewarding role. You should be proactive, able to problem solve effectively and be able to use your own initiative to thrive in a growing young company. Interest in NFP is also a plus.
We are a small but growing team, we all currently working remotely at least in part, but this may change in the future, we hold monthly team meetings to ensure we maintain the team connection and are in constant daily contact either by phone or email or whatsapp. In addition there will be a bi-weekly 1-1 meet with your supervisor.
